TikTok Photo app?
Let’s start with this buzz… TikTok and Instagram share many of the same features and are starting to look more and more alike. This is also the case with TikTok Photos. News broke this week that TikTok is working on a new photo-sharing app. Although there has been no official news release yet, clues have been found online in TikTok’s back-end code.
Could this be a sign that TikTok is not just copying features from Instagram, but also wants to seduce and push their entire audience in their direction? Will this slowly mean the end of Instagram? We are not there yet, but I will be keeping a close eye on this.

Ten ten is currently in the top 15 most downloaded/popular free apps. Where all (emerging) social channels are about social connection and interaction, ‘ten ten’ is no different. This app turns your phone into a live walkie-talkie and gives you the opportunity to chat directly with your best friends. Your friends will hear you live on their phone, even when their screen is protected.

The app has been around in Japan since 2020 and has also been available in the United States and the United Kingdom since last year. Unfortunately still not in the Netherlands, but you never know how quickly that will change. The app is developed by the parent company of TikTok and ByteDance . This platform uses the same algorithm as TikTok , but where TikTok is mainly about videos, Lemon8 is full focus on visual content creation in whatever form. Many describe the hype app as if Instagram and Pinterest had a love baby .
